The KonnectOS Visibility Model

Created by KJ King: a practical framework for connecting expert knowledge, useful public resources, search discovery and evidence-based improvement.

A framework created by KJ King

The KonnectOS Visibility Model is KJ King’s framework for organizing how a business documents its expertise, publishes useful answers and measures discovery across traditional and AI-assisted search. It connects the public knowledge a business shares with the systems, workflows and security practices behind its service.

The model combines established SEO and publishing practices with a repeatable operating process. Its name identifies this framework; it is not a foundation AI model or a claim to have invented SEO, generative AI or search technology.

Five stages, one improvement loop

Start with a business question and finish with a measurable next action. Each stage produces a concrete record that the next stage can use.

  1. Research: identify the questions customers ask, buying intent, existing answers and competing sources. Record the query, location and date when observing search results.
  2. Publish: build an authoritative core guide, supporting answers, relevant industry guidance and genuinely useful geographic resources. Attach a named author and supporting sources.
  3. Optimize: make the content accessible, internally linked and technically crawlable. Set accurate titles, descriptions and canonical URLs; include published pages in the sitemap.
  4. Measure: record search performance and sampled AI answers. Distinguish brand mentions, recommendations, linked citations and source URLs. Preserve the prompt, provider and observation date.
  5. Improve: turn evidence into a prioritized task, update the source content and compare later observations using a consistent method.

Authority starts with evidence

A clear author page connects KJ King to the framework and related guides. Original implementation notes, demonstrations, carefully documented case studies and verifiable results can strengthen that connection over time. A byline alone does not establish independent recognition.

Publish what a page actually explains. A city guide should answer a local business question with specific, sourced information rather than repeat a national article with a different city name. Case studies should distinguish working software from demonstrations, and measured outcomes from goals.

What successful measurement looks like

Separate indexing, search impressions, clicks, qualified inquiries and AI citations. A submission receipt shows that a notification was received; it does not prove that a page was indexed or recommended. An answer returned through a provider API is an observation from that request, not a universal view of what every consumer sees.

Search engines and AI providers choose their own sources. The framework aims to improve the quality and discoverability of the underlying material while measuring observed results. It cannot guarantee rankings, citations or recommendations.

Common questions

Who created the KonnectOS Visibility Model?

KJ King created the KonnectOS Visibility Model, a framework for researching customer questions, publishing useful resources, optimizing discovery, measuring visibility and improving from evidence.

Can businesses submit an answer directly into every AI chatbot?

There is no universal submission route that makes every chatbot cite or recommend a business. Publishing accessible, reliable source material and using supported search discovery mechanisms helps make content available for consideration.
